Make That 2 To Go, Unsigned Rookie Out For Season

July 28, 2009 Posted by: Dan Horne

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that 3rd round selection Robert Brewster has torn a pectoral muscle and will be out for the season.  Brewster is a Right Tackle who played for Ball State.

While he has yet to sign his contract, the Cowboys have to sign him to a contract that falls in line with players selected around him in the draft. Once he signs, he will have to be on the roster at some point but he could be put on the physically unable to perform list.

Tough luck for the rookie.  Dallas still has 2 rookies left to sign before training camp begins.
