This game has plenty of serious implications for the Dallas Cowboys. First off, it’s an NFC East division game against the Eagles and it’s being played in Philadelphia. These two teams have a lot of animosity towards each other, going way back.

After everything has shaken out, using everybody’s favorite analogy, ‘If the playoffs started today…”, the Cowboys currently hold the 6th and final seed.

I’ve said before that I can’t stand live blogs. Well now I’m doing something about it. I’m changing it up. I’m not gonna do a stream of random thought-like posts, because it’s hard to follow. Instead, I’ll post at regular intervals. There’ll be a pregame post with my thoughts running up to the game, followed by updates after each quarter.

Saturday’s game at Texas Stadium is a a big game for both the Ravens and the Cowboys. The winner will be one step closer to a wildcard berth in the postseason, and the loser can warm up the TV, since that’s the only way they’re seeing the playoffs.

I’ve been out of the loop for the past few days with a couple of illnesses (one mine, one not), so I’m sorry for the lack of updates. There’s been a bit of scuttlebutt around about the Cowboys in my absence, so here is a round-up of the more important stories.
