Eagles Beat Giants 20 – 14

The G-Men tried to mount a bit of a comeback, but none of it mattered in the end. Phillie has beaten the New York Giants by a score of 20 – 14. Donovan McNabb played well, completing 19 of 30 attempts for 191 yards and a TD. Brian Westbrook led the Eagles in both rushing and receiving. He carried 33 times for 131 yards and a TD, and caught 6 passes for 72 yards and another TD.

Phillie Leading Giants in 4th Quarter

This really has no relevance to the Cowboys playoff run, but as much as I dislike the Eagles, the Giants REALLY need to start losing games. The Eagles were leading 10 – 7 going into the 4th quarter, and as I type this, Westbrook has just broken out for a 40 yard catch-and-run for a touchdown.

Burress Posts $100K Bail, No Plea Entered

Plaxico Burress left court without entering a plea today. Burress’ lawyer had indicated that the Giants receiver would plead guilty to weapons charges stemming from Burress accidentally shooting himself in the leg at a New York nightclub. Burress’ bail was set at $100,000, and he must return to court at the end of March.

Giants Roll Over Redskins To Control NFC East

The New York Giants continue to steamroll through the league, tied with the Tennessee Titans for best in the league at 11-1. This time, it was a rain-soaked NFC East division battle with the Washington Redskins.
